About Me

My name is Ben Oliphant-Thompson. I'm what you'd call a little bit of an adrenaline junkie... I'm a rugby player for the Taunton Titans with a passion for adventure. This is the story of the adventure I have now begun, Winemaking/Cider making and building the brand of Kenton Park estate. I live down here in Devon on Kenton Park Estate. The Estate is the adventure of a lifetime for my family and I as we attempt to restore its glory days of being a commercial vineyard... knowing absolutely nothing about making wine - hence the adventure. This blog, however, is not just about the adventure of making wine but also everything that happens along the way. This is the story of me and this is my adventure.
